Algaetech Group entered into the field of micro algal research, development and consultancy as well as production and marketing of renewable energy and high value products since 2004.
We are the pioneer and a major player in Malaysia and Indonesia in Algae Related Industry and we have our own technology and system for cultivation of microalgae for primary production of high value products including biodiesel, anti-oxidants and other nutraceuticals.
Our system and technology is called “Algae Integrated Management System (AIMsys)”. It’s a combination of Close photo bioreactor and Open pond system for cultivation of Microalgae and also adaption of high technology equipment and machinery.
AIMsys combines Biology and Technology with the project management, technology transfer, technical expertise and management of technology to know-how for algae cultivation can integrate with Bio remediation & CO2 Sequestration.
We are successfully completed a R&D and cultivation of micro algae for production of biodiesel in year 2007 and now we are in the stage to commercialize this algae bio-fuel. We are also successfully created and developed our huge algae farm in Indonesia for primary production of biodiesel and feedstock. This algae plant is using photo bioreactor and the capacity is 500,000 liter.
