Roles & Responsibilities
- Liaise with maintenance and engineer team for any laboratory equipments that get broken, and when to setup new laboratory machines/apparatus.
- Make and keep a record for laboratory staffs and interns attendance schedule every month.
- Prepare laboratory daily report at least once a week.
- In charge of algae culture maintenance.
- Involve in Spirulina tableting production.
- Facilitate new laboratory staff and intern on how to do laboratory works.
- Assist other laboratory staffs whenever necessary.
- Cooperate with laboratory supervisor to do projects.
Current Projects
- Medium engineering project using common fertilizers and industrial grade chemicals.
- Amendment study phase of bio-active complex for fresh water algae.
- Salts project, to distinguish different salt effects on the salinity of marine algae.
- Algae revival project, to prove old algae culture can still survive when it is scaling-up.
