Algaetech laboratory situated in Technology Park Malaysia is a leading technopreneur creating comprehensive”eco-system” for accelerated and sustainable growth by facilitating R&D, innovation and commercialisation.

The centre for research and development in Algaetech was established in 2007, in response to a high degree of research and development activity at the interface of algae cultivation and the production for commercialisation.

An initial investment of MYR 15M in preliminary stage, proper planning and infrastructures moved the Algaetech facilities into state-of-the-art research lab and training centre in recent years.

Algaetech offers comprehensive training and workshop for local and international participant either from individuals or companies. The syllabus endorsed by UKM which includes lectures and more than 12 hours hands-on training with industrial exposure.
